Across the country, school picture season has arrived. For us, that means returning to familiar campuses and being welcomed back by school communities we have come to know.
We love reconnecting with administrators we have worked with year after year, catching up on what’s changed, and hearing about their summers as we prepare to welcome the first students of the day.
And then it’s the students’ turn to catch us up.
The Things Students Want Us to Know
Students arrive for their pictures with all kinds of important updates.
“Do you see how tall I got?”
“Do you know I’m in first grade now?”
They tell us about their summers and make sure we know what matters most to them.
We may spend only a few minutes with each student, but in that time, they show us exactly who they are and how much has changed since last year.
Sometimes that growth is easy to spot. They are taller, wearing new glasses, or proudly showing off the space where a tooth used to be. Other changes are quieter. A student who was hesitant last year walks up feeling more confident. An older student who has a stronger sense of how they want to present themselves smiles knowingly when we notice the difference.

Each school year brings a new version of the same fabulous kid.
Your School Community, Year After Year
Creating school pictures may be what brings us to your campus, but it’s your school community that keeps us looking forward to every Picture Day.
We are always so grateful to be welcomed in, whether we’re returning to a school we know well or arriving on a new campus for the first time.
We are so happy to be back doing the work we love.
